Overview
Palletfly acts as an intermediary to facilitate the shipping of your products to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. By partnering with Palletfly, you can leverage their expertise in logistics, handling, and compliance with Amazon’s stringent requirements. This collaboration aims to streamline the shipping process, minimize errors, and optimize costs.
Customer Responsibilities
- Create shipment plans: Enter the ship-from address, box/pallet count, and any specific requirements into your Amazon Seller Central account.
- Generate Required Labels: Create FBA labels for boxes or pallets as needed. These labels are essential for Amazon to process and store your products correctly.
- Respond to Shipment Emails: When your order is ready, you will receive an email from Palletfly with shipment details. Confirm these details and provide any additional information required.
- Follow Up on Shipments: Ensure you upload tracking numbers and carrier details to Amazon Seller Central to maintain shipment visibility and compliance with Amazon’s requirements.
Palletfly Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Manage and process your order, preparing it for shipment to Amazon FBA.
- Final Shipment Preparation: Provide you with the final shipment details, including the ship-from address and any specific instructions for labeling and packing.
- Shipping Coordination: Coordinate the shipping process, whether using Amazon's partnered carriers or third-party logistics providers.
Shipping Carrier Responsibilities
- Pickup: The shipping carrier is responsible for picking up your shipment from Palletfly's warehouse or your location.
- Delivery: Ensure timely and safe delivery of your shipment to Amazon’s designated fulfillment centers.
- Claims: Handle any claims or issues related to damaged or lost shipments during transit.
Amazon Responsibilities
- Assist with shipment creation: Amazon has a full set of guides and staff to guide you in creating and managing your shipments.
- Receiving and Processing Shipments: Once your products arrive at Amazon’s fulfillment centers, Amazon takes over the responsibility of receiving, processing, and storing your inventory.
- Issue Resolution: Assist with any issues that arise during the shipping process, such as lost inventory, shipping delays, or additional prep requirements.
